~2 months ago, I started to host a live show on TikTok (n~30; ~2 hours per session) where I invite people to ask me anything about psychology!
The backstory is that I'm psychological scientist/research psychologist. My expertise is prospective thinking and executive function. For many years, I also did performance and executive coaching. In 2018, I was recruited to be a research leader at the University of Helsingfors. During that stint, I added nutrition psychology to the 'plate'.
My main message is My big five's:
- Make sure that your meals contain >30 micro-nutrients (Österberg, 2019, 2020 a b; 2022, 2023; 2024).
- Cook and eat together with other people, preferably with people you disagree with (Dunbar, 2017; Lustig, 2017).
- spend time in nature (a park is fine), (Hartig et al. 1991; Kaplan and Kaplan, 1989; Ohly et al. 2016), and get sunlight (Landvreugd et al. 2025; Wang and Chen, 2020).
- elevate the corners of your mouth (Österberg, 2001).
- Dance. Studies based on scientific methods demonstrate that this matrix will improve your cognitive function (Österberg Köping Olsson, 2018, 2021).
Most of the questions are about what I would term negative psychology, that is, diseases or disorders, e.g. ADHD (executive dysfunction), depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and Schizophrenia.
Whereas I believe ADHD is typically a psychological phenomena – executive dysfunction – I thought of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and Schizophrenia as neurological. Here are the definitions:

But, recent studies suggest that also OCD and Schizophrenia can be put into remission with diet.

Conclusion. These studies gives more support to My big fives.
